The 40ft x 8ft Converted Shipping Container Office & Canteen is a versatile, insulated portable building designed to provide a combined office and staff welfare area for construction sites, industrial facilities, commercial premises, agricultural operations, and temporary work locations. Built from a durable steel shipping container, this converted unit offers a practical workspace alongside dedicated staff refreshment facilities.
The unit features full spray foam insulation throughout the walls, ceiling, and floor to help maintain a comfortable internal environment in a variety of weather conditions. The interior includes a cabin-spec kitchenette fitted with a water heater, making it suitable for preparing hot drinks, light meals, and staff refreshments.
A complete electrical installation includes two wall-mounted electric heaters, five double electrical sockets, four LED panel lights, an internal consumer unit, and an external 32-amp commando socket, allowing convenient connection to an external power supply.
Finished with durable ash grey wood-effect vinyl flooring, the interior is designed for easy cleaning and everyday commercial use. Natural light is provided through two white UPVC tilt-and-turn windows, while external steel fan shutters offer additional security and ventilation.
A central lockable steel pedestrian door provides secure access, while fully glazed end panels with lockable glazed doors at both ends increase natural daylight and create multiple access points.
Designed for temporary or long-term use, this office and canteen container provides a practical welfare solution that can be relocated as site requirements change.
